The Mechanic ("Zuko")

A man with no real name. He's used fake names and identities his whole life. The only moniker that's stuck is 'The Mechanic,' a nickname the OPA gave him. The crew of the Terpsichore gave him the millanime nickname 'Zuko,' because millanime names are currently trendy.

• Age: in his 50s
• Profession: a fixer. Has rearranged a face or two with a pipe.
• Backstory: little is known. He's worked for the OPA since he was about 14. He's now retired, though he temporarily left retirement to help Anderson Dawes with a job to recover a sample of the protomolecule. Hired the Terpsichore crew to transport him to Rhea, and then to help him as security detail. The job turned out to be a setup and resulted in a shootout. Impressed by their ability to think and react quickly, Zuko recruited the crew to get more involved with the protomolecule and help save the world.
• Hopes for future: wants to retire on Ceres and be left alone. Mainly he planned on just staying there until he died.
• Fun fact: when he got shot in the hip on Rhea, said "it wasn't the first time I was shot, and hopefully it won't be the last."
