A secret quantum molecular technology being produced by Protogen. Exactly what it can do and how it works is unknown, but the OPA believes it's a threat to humanity. It's being tested on human subjects on Phoebe.

Hecate learned some information about it by looking into files stolen from the hand terminal of Protogen scientist Emilio Castille. She learned that it has the power to transform anything into anything with nuclear transmutation. She has no idea though how it can be programmed or controlled, or how it gets enough energy on a practical scale.

The crew of the Terpsichore has considered a few times finding it and shooting it into the sun so no one can use it, but they have no idea how many samples of it exist, so it'd likely be useless.
